EWOV runs regular Scheme Participant Induction Training. It is designed for new scheme participant contacts, customer service managers and other scheme participant personnel who have had no or limited experience in dealing with EWOV. The session focuses on EWOV's jurisdiction and charter, the case handling process and the working relationship between EWOV and its scheme participants. The training will enable you to:

  • explain the role of EWOV
  • conduct a working relationship with EWOV consistent with the scheme participant manual
  • outline the key points of EWOV’s case handling procedures.

Training Dates in 2019

The following dates are scheduled for 2019. Sessions commence at 9.00am and conclude by 3.30pm.

  • Wednesday 2 October
  • Wednesday 4 December


The training is conducted at EWOV - Level 6, 111 Bourke Street, Melbourne.

Who do you send?

Any staff members who deal directly with EWOV should attend – they might handle referred complaints or deal with investigations, or coordinate responses with input from other staff.  Those who have done the training before but feel like a refresher session are also welcome.

The training comes at no cost to scheme participants. A training manual and morning tea and lunch will also be provided.
